1. Who is responsible for your information

Tobeho is operated by TOBEHO LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@tobeho.com.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to Tobeho's website, account features, rating services, reports, copyright/DMCA process, payments and related support. Third-party websites linked from profiles or other pages have their own privacy practices.

3. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information produced when you use the service.

• Account information, such as email address, username, date of birth, language, account status and information used to protect account access.
• Profile information, such as name, biography, profile picture, profile link and visibility choices.
• Rating requests, ratings, scores, written rating text and related privacy settings.
• Reports, appeals, moderation records and information needed to investigate misuse.
• Copyright/DMCA submissions, verification information, evidence and case communications.
• Payment and plan information, including payment-provider references; Tobeho does not store full payment-card details.
• Session, device, browser, IP address, security and activity information.
• Messages you send to support, legal, privacy or other contact addresses.

4. How we use information

• Create and manage accounts, profiles, sessions and plan access.
• Operate rating requests, ratings, visibility controls and notifications.
• Prevent spam, manipulation, fraud, unauthorized access and other abuse.
• Review reports, enforce rules and manage appeals or account actions.
• Process payments and provide purchased plan upgrades.
• Respond to support, privacy and legal requests.
• Comply with law, protect rights and maintain reliable records.
• Understand and improve the service using operational information that is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

5. Legal bases

Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we specifically request it. The applicable basis depends on the information and the purpose.

6. When information is shared

We share information only as reasonably needed for the service or as required by law.

• Service providers that support hosting, storage, email delivery, security and similar operations.
• Payment providers that process purchases and payment-related checks.
• Authorities, courts or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the service.
• A successor organization in a merger, financing, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate protections.
• Other users, according to the profile and rating visibility choices you select.

We use cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), to host and protect parts of the service and its data. We also use Google Fonts to display text. When those fonts load, your browser may connect to Google to retrieve the font files.

Tobeho does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising.

7. International processing

Tobeho is operated from the United States and may use service providers in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, protect accounts, support moderation, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and complete account-deletion requests.

• Deletion requests may involve a limited restricted period before permanent deletion.
• Some completed ratings may remain in anonymized form after an account is deleted.
• Report, copyright, security and backup records are deleted or anonymized under purpose-limited retention schedules.
• Relevant records may be kept longer when required by law, a valid preservation request or an active dispute.

9. Account deletion and anonymized ratings

When an account is finally deleted, the account and direct profile identifiers are removed from the live user system. Completed ratings the deleted user gave to other people may remain in anonymized form, including scores and written rating text, so that another user's rating history is not silently changed. The retained rating is no longer linked to the deleted account.

Ratings received by the deleted account are not kept as a public profile for that deleted account. Content already removed through moderation does not become visible again because an account was deleted.

10. Your choices and rights

You can manage many choices in Settings, including profile visibility, rating preferences, sessions, deactivation and deletion. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

To make a privacy request, contact privacy@tobeho.com. We may need to verify your identity and may limit a response where necessary to protect another person's rights, security or legally protected information.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security. You should use a strong unique password, protect access to your email and review active sessions if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Adults only

Tobeho is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit accounts for children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact privacy@tobeho.com.

13. Cookies and similar storage

Tobeho uses cookies and browser storage for login, security, language and limited workflow functions. More information is available in the Cookie Policy.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version and effective date will be shown on this page. When appropriate, we may also provide notice by email or through the service.
